So very few of you may remember my original blogs; my “professional” blog (Daniel J Berryman), my gaming blog (HeyDaniko) and my collaborative blog (the original Thunder’s Remnant.) But the sad truth is that I have lost access to all of them. WordPress tells me that my account has been deleted and I simply do not understand why. I was last logged in perhaps 12 months ago or so, which seems like an oddly short amount of time for which to remove an account. And not even suspend or freeze – my account has been outright deleted. It would be possible to resurrect if I had any proof of ownership but as I did not use 2-factor-authentication or have any sort of email receipts from WordPress themselves, it appears that the account and all affiliated blogs must remain officially dead.
But perhaps its all a blessing. Time to rebuild on the ashes of what which was lost. Time to make something bigger and better. Time to pour heart and soul into something worth keeping. And so, Cheirinn, Mereel and I present to you – the new Thunder’s Remnant. A Remnant of the Remnant, perhaps? Or something much more. Let’s see how this one goes.
